The word of day is “cheat” or “decipiat” in Latin or “enganar” in Spanish. “Tricher” in French.
Cheat can be a verb and a noun. English speakers know “cheater” is the person. English has so many synonyms for both and so do the other languages. What does this say about human nature?
We all have been cheated and we have all cheated in some way. We all know and all have stories about this. We all feel cheated about something. Again, what does this say about human nature?
Is it true that cheaters never win in the end? I think the jury is still out on this.
