Looking Forward

Death and it’s transformation has come creeping up again and again the last few days.  It has happened not only on a national level,so to speak, but locally as well.  I was texting back and forth with someone today who knows the family of someone who died and the person who died as well.  It is all heartbreaking.

The winter sicknesses are also creeping in.

People are complaining.

Yet today as I was looking out my window and looking at the clock, I could see the extra precious minutes of added daylight.  The extra precious minutes to take a walk while the sun was out before darkness and the stars returned.

One day the sky was dark and a few days later the sun is still there.  The ebb and flow.

One must always look forward because there is nowhere else to look.
